Join us for a conversation with Victoria Caubet, an architect specializing in heritage conservation and sustainable construction, as she shares her expertise in rebuilding war-damaged infrastructure in Ukraine. Victoria, currently leading the reconstruction of a school through Neo-Eco Ukraine, will discuss the use of circular design and sustainable materials, community engagement, and addressing the traumatic impacts of war.
Neo-Eco Ukraine is dedicated to transforming construction waste into resources for a greener future, showcasing innovative approaches to rebuilding communities while reducing environmental impact. The discussion will include insights into their work recycling materials from Ukraine’s war-damaged sites, promoting low-carbon solutions, and fostering local regeneration.
This event will be moderated by Alison Mears, executive director and co-founder of the Healthy Materials Lab, who is also presenting the work of a senior architecture studio at Parsons exploring regenerative adaptive reuse in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine.
